My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The room was not as clean as I expected for a La Quinta establishment, but it was relatively quiet except for the noise from the freeway nearby. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional with staff going above and beyond to assist me. The location was a bit less convenient than I had hoped, but it had good access to amenities within a short drive.
The hotel is located in a convenient area close to the campus and offers affordable rates compared to being in the city center. The rooms come with a sofa sleeper but had a peculiar smell, possibly from cleaning products. The service was responsive and accommodating, providing a bag breakfast for our special dog who doesn't travel well. The dining experience is being improved with an early remodel and offers a satisfying breakfast selection. Overall, a good value for money stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel was pretty hot and stuffy when I arrived but eventually cooled off. The rooms were quiet and nice, adhering to European standards. The service was among the nicest I've experienced, especially in accommodating our special dog. The location was great for our visit to UC Davis, although it got loud being by the freeway. The dining experience was average but convenient with a typical motel breakfast. Overall, the facilities met basic needs but could use some improvement.
